Directors

Christopher Dohm

Chris brings multidisciplinary design experience in North America, Asia, and the Caribbean to Carbon/Green. From his early work for TD Waterhouse (equity trading) and CIBC World Markets (commodities derivatives), he understands that sustainable development must mean economic advancement as well as social responsibility and environmental stewardship. His primary area of interest is creating a built environment that is visually appealing, low-carbon, and offers high levels of occupant comfort.

A LEEDŽ Accredited Professional in both Building Design + Construction, and Interior Design + Construction, he has been a project administrator on a LEEDŽ registered project for a Fortune 500 company in Sausalito, California. Chris is also the director of design and cultural projects at AI PROJECTS, and the Development Director at Carbon/Green. He advanced the national sustainable development agenda in Trinidad & Tobago as Vice President of Marketing and Communications for the T&T Green Building Council.

Gillian Fraser

An architect by training, Gillian is skilled at developing and managing project-specific, practical, and appropriate strategies for sustainability, and leveraging the value in the marketplace. During her U.S. based experience, she worked on several LEEDŽ registered buildings across the United States. Her office managed the process of getting the DC Public School Systems (DCPS) certified at the standard of LEEDŽ Silver. Most recently she has worked as a project administrator on a LEEDŽ registered building renovation in California, USA and is developing a 'green' resort along the north coast of Trinidad.

She currently sits on the board of directors of the Trinidad & Tobago Green Building Council, (TTGBC) and has been an active member of the USGBC since 2007. Gillian has been recognized by the U.S. Department of Energy for her contribution to creating greener school systems with an Award of Commendation in 2004. She is a LEEDŽ Accredited Professional , BD+C.

Lauren Gropper

A LEEDŽ Accredited Professional with specific experience in green building consulting services as well as environmental consulting for film and television. Lauren is currently working on several LEEDŽ certification projects with the global architecture firm Genster, including projects for the Microsoft Corporation, Fairmont Hotels, Bank of America, and the Credit Suisse. A LEEDŽ Accredited Professional since 2002, Lauren has consulted on dozens of LEEDŽ Registered projects in North America as well as various residential and commercial buildings, corporations, and homes in Los Angeles, Toronto and New York City

Lauren has a Master of Science in Environmental Planning and Design from New York's Pratt Institute School of Architecture. For over a decade, Lauren has served the Pratt Institute faculty as an Adjunct Professor, teaching green building principles and LEEDŽ . Lauren has been featured in the New York Times, dwell.com, as well as various publications such as Metropolis Magazine, Wish Magazine, and Green Living. She was a featured speaker at the Green Living Show, NeoCon/IIDEX, and Brooklyn Design.
